Howdy — I’m David Orcutt, and I’m proud to call Granbury home.  I grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Political Science before serving eight years as a Navy submarine officer. I retired from the Navy Reserves as a Commander in 2012.

After earning my MBA from University of Texas at Austin, I traded periscopes for patients and began a career in hospital administration. In 2006, I landed in Granbury as CEO of Lake Granbury Medical Center, where I discovered my love for commercial real estate — developing projects, leasing space, and managing more than 25 properties around town.

When I left healthcare in 2021, real estate was the natural next step. Starting in residential sales, I fell in love with renovating lake homes, and launched a renovation and repair company with a friend. Investing in rental homes seemed like the next logical progression.  It’s the same kind of long-term wealth strategy I now help clients build for themselves.

Granbury isn’t just where I work — it’s where I live, raised my family, and plan to stay. I’ve been honored to serve through the Chamber of Commerce, Hood County EMS, United Way, Boys & Girls Club, and the GISD Education Foundation. More recently, I helped launch a local effort that’s resettled 12 Ukrainian families — now thriving and part of our community.

When I’m not helping clients buy, sell, or renovate, you’ll probably find me playing tennis, catching live music, or spending time with friends and family.
